Inosat received for the first time the award for SME Excellence, a distinction created by IAPMEI, the Portuguese Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, with the aim to distinguish the SME’s that revealed a superior performance and act as drivers of the national economy.

The awards ceremony was held in Santa Maria da Feira, on the 10th of February and counted with the presence of Manuel Caldeira Cabral the minister for economic affairs.

“We are sincerely honoured to have received this distinction. Inosat works continuously to be an excellence company, not only in the financial plan, but also in how we relate with the market and our customers” said Jorge Carrilho, Inosat President, adding that “this award attribution is without doubt seen by the whole company as a recognition of our hard work and effort and is a great incentive to continue pursuing excellence in all tasks that we perform”.

The award SME Excellence is attributed to a small selection of companies that hold the status SME Leader, a status that Inosat holds since 2011.

The SME Excellence distinction rewards the merit of small and medium sized companies that present the best financial and management indicators on each activity sector, and aims to lend visibility and recognition, that will result in an optimization of the relationships with the commercial banking and public administration, also serving as a quality certificate in the relationship each of these companies establish with the market.

THE SME Excellence project was created by IAPMEI in partnership with the Tourism of Portugal and 11 banks operating in Portugal, namely: Banco BIC, Banco BPI, Banco Popular, Barclays Bank, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Crédito Agrícola, Millennium BCP, Montepio, Novo Banco, Novo Banco Açores and Santander Totta.
